Description

Thai Hale was designed to bring masculine and feminine energies together in a smooth flow of yin and yang, with a square design in back and a round design in front. In this exquisite building, you will feel harmonious energy enhancing your well-being, your inspiration will flow, and your vacation will reach a new height of rejuvenation and peace.

An intricately carved Balinese door begins your journey from the path to the house as the eye catching roof line – inspired by Thai temples – presents itself. There is a queen-sized bed on the ground floor of this cottage and a single bed in the loft, which is also the perfect place to meditate while adoring our exquisitely-constructed bamboo ceiling. Our interior is decorated with elegant furnishings from around the world, such as an antique teakwood coffee table from Bali, thankas (prayer paintings) from Bhutan, handwoven silk carpets and traditional Tibetan carpets from Nepal. Gathered from the owner’s travels around the world, she generously shares her treasures for your enjoyment.

The Thai Hale comes equipped with a full kitchen with all of the amenities you could need. A perfect choice for a longer stay, you can create a relaxing work-from-home environment with our fast fiber-optic internet. If you are highly sensitive and would prefer an electromagnetic field free of wifi, you can turn the internet off at your discretion. The mermaid-themed outdoor shower is a favorite among our guests, very private with plenty of room for two. The spacious wrap-around lanai provides an outdoor lounge area with a large bamboo couch, teak bench, tables, chairs and a stunning view of a beautiful garden. Also, the secret of the North Shore is the trade winds that keep this space at a comfortable temperature. We are also blessed with early morning rains that not only keep our gardens green, but also cleanse and wash away the past. Staying in our Thai Hale is an elegant and memorable experience that will keep your Hawaii vacation forever etched in your heart.

Thai Hale and the Maui Eco Resort was an incredible place to stay, relax and hike around. We could not have found a more perfect spot on Maui. You feel like you are separated from the outside world and can just breathe. But it’s only a short distance to many beaches and towns if and when needed. Highly recommend and plan to return.

The Thai hale was a magical place to stay. We enjoyed ocean views from bed, ate almost every meal on the perfect covered balcony where we saw rainbows and whales and dolphins and watched rain coming in from the ocean. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make smoothies and great dinners and coffee. The care and love came through in all the details. The respect for the environment and land made it truly special. We were close to Pa’ia which had a wonderful natural food store and reataursbts. It is a great place to get a head start to explore the road to Hana. It is a perfect place if you want to be away from the hustle and madness and soak in the natural beauty and wonder of the jungle part of Hawaii.

I had a lovely time waking up to birds singing and the soft sounds of the ocean. If you’re looking for a place to get away from the city and thought pollution this is the ultimate place to be. The stars were beautiful and bright and the total atmosphere was very romantic. I’d definitely recommend this charming place to anyone.

This place is outstanding! It was paradise! You are completely surrounded by nature and you can just feel your tension leaving the second you get there. We loved the outdoor shower, the beautiful wrap around porch, the design of the building, everything!! Book a session with Dean, do the yoga classes, lose yourself in the beautiful surroundings. I feel grounded and at ease. Thank you so much for such a beautiful experience.
